Meet the Team

We have a friendly and dedicated staff team who are all commited to providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment for all children. All staff are experienced or training in early years and are committed to continuing their professional development.

All staff are DBS checked, trained in paediatric first aid, food handling , safeguarding and child protection.. All children are allocated a keyperson from the team who will work closely with your child and yourself to ensure we can meet all their needs regarding wellbeing and progress.

We work over the recommended statutory ratio’s to ensure we can offer the best care and experiences for each child.

Lisa Wilkins- Co-owner/Manager/Senco/Designated Safeguarding Lead

I have worked in the early years sector for twenty eight years. I hold a BA Hons degree in Early Years Leadership & Management. I have experience in both nursery and pre-school settings. I am SENCO, Designated Safeguard Lead, Health & Safety Lead & Data Protection Lead. I believe that high quality early years experiences allow children to gain important life skills and help to build a solid foundation for their future education. I strongly believe in building positive relationships with the families who attend. This enables us to work in partnership with you allowing children to reach their full potential and feel safe & happy at Little Stars.

I am co-owner/Manager at Little Stars pre-school. I have worked in early years for 22 years and have gained my BA Hons in Early Years Studies. I am also Designated Safeguard Lead. I believe that children learn best through play and at Little Stars we offer ample opportunities to allow this.
